In topic http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=5766.msg54076#msg54076 I was told:

"...make full backup of Flash, EEPROM and processor..."

What are the differences between flash, eeprom and processor?

Thanks

They're different chips within your ecm, which contain different information and perform different tasks. Flash chip generally contains the majority of the primary "profile". Eeprom generally holds secondary (adaptions, immo).

Type the same question in google.com for more information.
