ok just checked the stash i already have 018DA ecu.  so dr. yellowbird could you send invoice to cj5470110@aol.com for 4B0906018Q ecu only.

Also if anyone needs a 2.0, 3.0, or 2.8 ECU (all automatics) I have access to those as well.

The B5.5 Passat uses what is basically a B6 ecu. Faster processor, mapped cooling system, etc, etc.

I think you can run the 518xx software on the 018DA, but I haven't personally tried it yet.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the clarification. When you say "mapped cooling system" do you mean it has an electrically controlled thermostat?
