Hyundai/Kia KEFICO ECUs (M7.9)
« on: April 06, 2014, 03:00:05 PM »
Hi there guys,
I own a rather sluggish Hyundai Accent that has an ECU made by KEFICO under a Bosch license. Now I haven't popped it open, but sources say that it is the carbon copy of the Bosch M7.9 system. Could anyone tell me the difference between the M and ME series? Are they the same, only sources call them different? Might be the Nefmoto software with an ebay cable able to read and write it? I've attached a picture. I hope someone can help. Thank you all!

a) ME version suporrts electronic TB, M version suports old style cable TB
b) KEFICO (licensed Bosch M7.9) in Hyu/Kia uses ST10xx processor = impossible to use a tool for VAG ME7 for read/write
