like an idiot I tried to use an ebay vagtacho cable to read my pin and program a new key. Well I did something wrong when checking out the mileage option and now my lcd is lit up and the immo light is flashing. When I scan with vcds i get

The car has an APR stage 1 flash on it. Anyone have the correct cluster dump or am I screwed? The company that flashed the APR software thinks that reflashing the ecu would fix it.

are you in the usa? i can fix this.
does the cluster show 99999.. on the mileage lcd?

I am in the USA. The lcd back light is on and the mileage is correct.

If I were I would try to recode the instrument cluster using VAG-COM/VCDS.

Tuesday Im going to work on a 2002 225 tt ill read the cluster eeprom and post...

vagtacho corrupted the e2p on the mc912dg128 cpu. working on fixing it now.

We're you able to read the cluster from the 225? My car now starts but I have trouble with the fuel and temp gauges being pegged all the way to the right most of the time.
