I have an audi abz ecu and a chip with manual code on it, what chip is it that gets replaced?

The one with yellow sticker on it I suppose. It looks like PLCC44 for me...

The file I have is for the ahc engine and im not sure if they use the same maf and injectors. Can I just copy the maps from the abz to the ahc?

If you know the maps you can copy them...
how do I find the locations for the maps? im a complete n00b when it comes to this part of the project

just fyi, the stock chips are 27c1024 and are otp. 28f102 are the flash replacements and can be erased and flashed as many times as you like.

Finding the map table is the easiest way of finding most of the maps. Here's a good guide http://www.motronic.ws/maptable.htm

Post original files for both ECUs... Otherwise noone will be able to find any maps for you.
