Hey
So iv been searching for a few days now to try achieve some protection for my files,
I have read you can do it by editing the seed key using winols and you can do the noread tag in winols and im sure there a few more ways that id like to learn about too.
so far iv tried the noread tag in winols but couldnt see it making any difference when i open the file on another laptop using winols
iv searched for may hours trying to find the seed key and any info relating to it but havent come right
i know this protection is only a small obstacle and if someone wants the file they will get it using bootmode
Please guys help me out
heres a pic of what i tried in winols for the no read tag
the car im trying this on is a seat ibiza fr 2006 bosch edc15p+ heres a stock file

yes its my personal car.

Seed key is not like ticking on ols on a simple box, if you are not aware what you are doing you may lock the ECU easily.

Could you explain how it's done so I can understand why

Changing the seed key will give you nothing in EDC15, real tools will still be able to read and write the ECU.

But would changing the key stop tools like the galleto and Mpps clones

Utterly pointless.
There are a million more interesting (and useful) things to work on.

How much are you looking for? If I purchase your tuning firm will I get all IP? Are the new special tricks and custom code that no one else has all ironed out? That is really what we are all after, that and the new way you mapped stuff like idle rpm and injector sizing, mind blowing stuff. Good thing you are using security.

Hey, I do this as a hobby and the only gain being knowledge and interest. To change idle rpm and code for different size injectors use the" search " it's pretty easy to tune for
