Has anyone been using this editor? I've been rummaging through the information on this and apparently it has capability to locate important maps, calculate checksums, create xdf's and has user friendly editing features. I'm in the process of downloading visual studio to check it out.

It was once available as a compiled program, the developer has ended support a while back.  Would be nice if someone could compile it and offer up an executable version of the software for use.

Visual Studio has found several errors while attempting to run the program, most of them attempting to reference excel interface (I'm thinking because I have the trial version and not the full version), Devexpress and nevron which are two programs that I'm not familiar with. According to the .txt document that is all you need to run it. I mean I'm new to this so I'm unsure if the full program is in the ZIP file.

seems like its not able to properly read the *.bin file that i sourced from the ECU files section (VW 1.8T 06A906032PL), though I'm able to open the included golf_mk4_dump.bin. well, either its not reading it properly, or it doesn't have the proper descriptors loaded, and without being able to load an XDF, i'm kind of at a loss at what to do (i'm very very very new to this ECU stuff, but computers are my life/job). anybody else manage to figure this out?
