My point with saying that the car shouldn't be tuned remote is simply that after having spent thousands of buckazoids on hardware you would probably like to have a software that can extract the +120 horses you are looking for and when pushing the hardware like that, I've found it beneficial to actually sit in the car myself, either in the dyno or on the road.

I'm not saying that it can't be done remotely, I'm just saying that all the ponies you are looking for is easier to find "on location", at least for me.

A simple "stage 1" tune is a different thing and can be done during sleeping on the opposite side of the planet. :-)
