I am new but i will be specialist of ECU tune! (new also Tunerpro, VCDS,,)

My first project is 50ps up of NEW BEATLE 1.8T('02 Japan) with Nefmoto!

This NB 1.8T is [06A906032JR 1.8I 5T NB AG4]. Now,, I could not read ECU with ME7 29F800 MemLayout..
Software could read only 10% and said "Reading ECU flash memory failed."

Anyway, I will learn ECU tuning as fast as possible! Please teach me! And tell me useful URLs with photo/screenshot?

my language is japanese, german, english Smiley, etc.  DIY ECU tune is not popular in Japan. Cry

If you got to 10% then its talking ok, try it a few more times. Also check your battery is well charged and disable the laptop power saving.

thank you Smiley  I tried. It seems to be sufficient voltage...
Is it normal for reading to be stopped??? It is first time to read ECU for me.

It happens occasionally for me. It seems to vary depending on ECU and if you are doing it on the bench or in the car. Also some ECUs seem more fussy than others.

After turning on ignition, I could not CONNECT to edu without each fuse.(#11,#15 fuses of my NB are for instrument cluster.)
Then i tried pulling off cluster fuses after connecting, but I could not even Read ECU.

I wonder why each data transfer is different (8%,10%,12%). Undecided
