audi tt ecu compatibility questions
« on: August 12, 2014, 05:46:27 AM »
The ecu in my 01 tt is a 8N0 906 018 L.
I need to ship it out to Mr Daz for a few days and I can't really afford it to be down for any amount of time right now. I found a ecu on ebay for an alright price but it is a 8N0 906 018 S. Is it possible to flash the "S" ecu with immo off tune and it'll be alright and run?

Make sure to check the bootrom to ensure they are compatible!

Start by tracking down both original files.

I've found both of these. Seems they are the 512kb file. And my stock file is the 1024 kb I think it is.
Going off of another post it looks like this won't work..
