551C 512kb now, can i stick a 551M/D 1024kb etc on there?

You must use the entire ecu from a 551M/D in order to run the 1mb file.

You need an ECU with a 1MB flash to load a 1MB image onto it.

I assume all the address lines are there, in theory, you can solder a 1MB flash onto a C ECU.

DD would know for sure if that is possible Wink

Sorry,

I mean can I take off the 551C ecu and fit a D or M box etc.

Will the car work ok as in having a facelift ecu on a pre facelift.

MAF difference has to be done by modifing MLHFM and MLOFS, can't just be done via coding.
