	Help bench flashing Me7.1.1 ECU « on: September 09, 2014, 08:32:33 AM »

I purchased a 2004 Audi Allroad 4Z7907551S ECU to do some test flashing with the NefMoto software to track down some issues people are having with 2004 ECUs. Since this ECU has an immobilizer it won't let me bench flash it over OBD. I don't have an instrument cluster to connect it to for the immobilizer, and I need to flash over OBD for testing. Is using boot mode to turn off the immobilizer in the 94050 eeprom the easiest thing to do to let me flash over OBD on the bench?

Use argdub's tool to read the eeprom (in either bootmode or obd) http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1168.0title=

Either flip the immo bits in a hex editor, or use my tool if its a standard immo3 512byte eeprom: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=6134.msg62200#msg62200

Write back to ecu using argdubs tool in boot mode.

7.1.1 is not 95040. might find a 5p08c3 chip though.
