Have any of you guys succeeded in running one of the Chinese Ebay BDM100 clones in Windows 7 without using a virtual machine? If yes, please tell me how.   I can not seem to find any drivers other than the ones supplied to Windows XP. |

I've seen the clone BDM software have malware so I run mine in a vm anyway. XP.

Thanks guys!
I downloaded the file supplied by k0mpresd but get this message when trying to update the drivers.
I just go to the device manager -> select "Map3d MPC555 Interface" -> right click -> Update Driver Software -> Browse my computer... ->
select the BDM1255\DRIVERS folder.

It won't work on 64-bit if that's what you're running.

It is 64-bit. According to f1torrents his is working: Mine is running fine. Win7 x64
Didnt do anything special.
Is it possible for you to upload the drivers you used? That would be awesome! |

im interested in this too, as i just got a new garage pc and i want it to run win 7 or 8 just for ease of networking. XP appears to not play well with the 7 or 8 pcs on my network

Tonight I installed "XP mode" VM in Windows 7 (again). This is using Microsofts Virtual Machine software to create a Windows XP SP3 installation. I am however not able to install the drivers correct. It gets stuck in the last step while copying it to C:\Windows\System32. I tried waiting for several hours before interrupting the process.
Then I got mad and deleted the VM and reinstalled. Same issue.
Then measured the PSU, the prints in the BDM unit and everything. All good.
At last I tried an old laptop with XP on it that has been in the closet for several years. Bingo! It worked perfect the first time I tried.
What version of XP are you guys succesfully using in a virtual environment with your BDM100 clones? And what VM software are you using?
