Anyone got an ecu pinout for a me3.8 ecu for a agu 1.8t? Looking for complete pinout, not just wiring for a bench harness.

I have this one, but not used pins will be not so easy.

On Golf GTI the pin 43 goes rigth to OBD pin 13, but in all A3 150 I saw it´s not... but theres is the wire going inside the car, someone knows where I can pick it to write in this case ?

The stuff I've seen recently suggests you should just apply power to pin 43 for writing.

My friend, how to make it in A3 without disassebling Wipers and broken conector plastic cover of ECU when car is after 2002 (after this year there is a metal cover keeping ECU atached to car)... give 12V to pin 13 or 43 is clear as it´s in MPPS program... in Golf pin 13 is atached to pin 43, in A3 not...

Also metal cover is really difficult to take it out without too much damage to it. Bolts are blind or covered with metal.
Junior do you know where does that cable from pin #43 of ECU goes to in car in Audi A3 8L??? Huh Huh Did you have trace it??? Huh Huh

That will help a lot turboat. Car is Audi A3 8L with 1.8T engine, years --> 1996-2003(up to 2005 in some countries).

Here are diagrams for a 1998 A3 and a 1999 Golf, just what I had kicking around. IIRC elsawin lists a different diagram for 1997 A3 as 1998 A3, so if this doesnt match your car let me know what the actual year is and I'll try and pull off a diagram for that.

According  to 1998 Audi A3 wiring diagram, ECU's pin #43 goes up to pin #1 in T10Y (green) connector in plenum area (black box under passenger wiper mechanism). Big difference is that in Audi diagram wire dies in T10Y/1 green connector but in VW Golf in continues to pin #13 of OBD2 connector.

Right now I don't have an A3 car to check it. But in Golf is 100% confirmed.

The 1999 A3 that I cut the ECU plug out of this week definitely had a red/white going to pin 43, so you should be in luck Smiley
