I told you, those addresses are specific to the file that I gave them in reference to. You should know this by now. Use the version those addresses are for, find them, and compare to your file. If you can't do that, then just use that file. If you can't do THAT, you can read the megathread on locating DTC's.

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=567.75

Honestly, if you can't do any of that at this point then this probably isn't for you.

In your file:

P1473 0x1C4CA

I might not be so crabby, but you felt it prudent to completely disregard my signature and PM me questions that are best left on the board.

Shape up.

Again sorry. A tip to the DTC link would have been enough.

Thanks A Lot for the help.

P.S.: I'm not a native english speaking person and often use googletranslation which makes it sometimes complicated...

It's alright. I don't mind helping, but there has to be a point at which you stop needing more help than you are providing.

In the future, keep your questions on the forums. Private messaging me isn't appropriate. That's as bad as demanding I do it for you.

Let me make sure im 100% on this, in order to stop the evap dtc its just a matter of setting CDLDP and CDTES to 0 and zeroing the dtc P1473 0x1C4CA at that address.
I know this will not delete it from the ecu as if it were never installed,  but this should be enough correct?

Bump

Which evap DTC? There is more than one...To get a conclusive answer, you must provide the relevant data.

Try setting CDLDP and CDTES to 0. This should be enough.

However, i don't know why, i had to delete the DTC. Maybe you not need this.

Just try.

I'm in the same situation CDLDP and CDTES to 0 and the dtc still comes up.
obviously it's because it's not in the circuit and that's why it comes up on the euro cars
The evaporation pump don't seam to be in the esknof to configure it as not installed, so disabling the DTC must be the only option?

Sorry, i don't know...But it's working to get the MIL Off and i'm fine with this.

But if you have time, can you test the original 518AK 003 file and only set CDLDP to 0?
This worked for me, but not with the Stage1 518AK 003...
Just to do some research?

So back to my original question, to stop DTC P1473  I need to zero 0x1C4CA, want to be 100% on that. As I can't yet figure out finding the DTC via the megathread linked.

If that's the address I have given for your file, then yes. You should however try to understand how I came up with that address in order to ensure you do it right!
