Hi guys,

Does anyone has log file with rl_w, pvdkds_w, mshfm_w and nmot variables for wped=100% on AUQ engine and AGU (or any other engine with big ports/channel) engine with the same turbine?

Why I'm asking - my AUQ engine is boosted by GT2871 with 1.4bar pressure and has 220 gr/sec and now (as it happens usually I need more power Smiley) so I want to change engine head with big ports in order to have better volumetric efficient with the same pressure.

Regards.

I'm using MAF 0 280 218 038 from S4 which can realize up to 400 hp.

Not sure all those logging variables will be much help as I doubt anyone has taken a smallport and upgraded to the large port with out changing any else. Too many things can effect the VE of the engine, and so it's a little hard to say fitting a LP is going to gain you x amount extra VE.

What you can be assured though is that the large port with the larger port runners will help on high flow/bhp applications, but the downside is the slower moving air will reduce effective torque. The large port always loves timing so you'll end up with 5+ extra degrees of timing in some cases.

On smaller turbo's like the OEMS , from experience the small port is a much better driving experience but on higher Hp cars then yes the larger ports flows much better....

It's not necessary that these log files should have one person. Maybe different people have stock engine with the same turbine.

It seems I'll be the first who will made this kind of test. Smiley
