Is a ME9 funktionsrahmen in anyone's possession (amateur or pro tuner?) that we know of?

I wouldn't bother with it unless someone kindly made one available to us. Too much heartache.

Well to be honest....I would not be comfortable posting anything in a public forum.  I DO NOT want to burn bridges if you know what i mean.

Yeah, as usual, the boys in the club get the goods, and everyone else is left out in the cold.

It's really hard to learn anything like this. The culture of information denial with ECU knowledge is well established to the point no one "feels comfortable" talking about how to obtain the really crucial information sources. The US CIA can't do better keeping a lid on stuff.

Same old song and dance. The "pro" tuning culture is a joke.

Cry babies.

Question: when was the first time you saw, say 'KRKTE' google-able? What site did it point to?

Nyet,

slightly off topic, but where did you get your original info from?

5 years of reverse engineering based on logging, no funktionsrahmen. no help from tuners (they all wanted promises i would keep things quiet), and the A6 2.7t and RS4 damos which I bought, on my own dime... my mbox information is built entirely from that by hand by searching for matching patterns in the binary.

Only *one* tuner freely gave me information after I told him I would keep nothing secret.

The rest were stuck in their bizarro masonic handshake chiptuners.org world.

It was very very hard refusing "encumbered" information.
