so ive been trying for days now to get my eob-1260 cable working with vcds lite but no luck, I got good drivers I believe and can look cable information with ft prog but I don't now what I have to do to change it to a ross tech cable :/ any help would be appreciated

Galletto bundled cables will only work with Galletto software. The hardware is incompatible with VCDS.

I read somewhere tho (ill try and find the link) you can use ftdi software to flash your cables firmware and make it a vcds cable, the cable uses the same ft232rl chip, or is this a lost cause Sad

The hardware in your cable is incompatible with VCDS. It's a lost cause.

badass you guys are awesome thanks for the help, hopefully when it gets here I can figure out whats wrong with her, ive invested to much time and money to stop learning now! lol
