Any suggestions? 1998a4 abs is bonkers and unplugged to communicate with engine module in VCDS. Now trying to pull .bin from ecm but cannot connect to KWP1281. See attatched for screenshot. I tried different baud rates.

Disregard the flashing bit for S4 2.7

AHA is M5.92 and cannot be read.

It can't be written with nefmoto either. To write it at all you need to power pin43 of the ecu connector in order to supply programming voltage.

Thanks for that bit. So in order for me to get .bin I need to remove the flash chip and used eeprom reader.

Can anyone say what the difference is between 4d0907551f and 4d0907551ah? one for auto one for manuel?

Unlikely to be much (different). 551AH can be used auto or manual. Is that the file you need?

I have ah, but downloaded f. I'm mearly using this bin to open up in winols demo and trying to find/understand right now. I have a 99 aha a4 that I rebuilt and deleted many things, like rear 02, sai, evap. so now I'm trying to learn to tune on this car before touching others.

Thanks dd! I know it sounds silly to modify a tip aha car. Im just trying to understand this. Do you fellows have a reference to find the x,y values of maps?
