Ok so both AWT, AWM are interchangeable. What are alternatives to these?

I've scanned through a lot of codes on etka and these also sparked interest:
AWL BGC CFMA AMB ARK AVJ BFB BKB BEX

Anyone knows if they're direct swap (VVT is not important)?

BTW: AEB, AJL, ANB, APU has old style coil sockets (square). On AWT they are newer.

~~BEX is from S3~~ sorry this was wrong info. Its longitudinal, all transverse blocks you need to change out the manifolds. I personally would just get the cheapest block with the lowest mileage, and then swap over any parts you need. I have an AEB block with APU harness, running on 225 APX file with ME7.5NB and all I needed to swap on the block itself was the cam timing wheel (€5,- from VW) and the throttlebody (scrapyard).

BFB, BEX, AVJ, AMB all are longitudinal blocks so should be ok .
