New to me7 tuning, possible check of my work?
« on: February 06, 2015, 09:43:56 AM »
Hi all been reading on here for the better part of the last year and absorbing as much a I can about the me7 ecu. I've done tuning before but both motors where with a megasquirt ecu. So I'm no stranger to how tuning works just needed to learn how this ecu does what it does to effect fueling timing, boost(or load as this ecu goes) etc.
I was hoping to have this bin possibly reviewed for any comments or criticism.
the car
body is an 01.5 with ESP quattro
engine has an 01 harness and bosch sensor but came with 01.5 ecu so the first mod was adjusting the maf which i copied the three tables from the A-box as well as the 200 ofset.
from there I tried my hand at a stage 1 after rereading the community project, me7 docs, and tuning wiki as well as coding out the rear o2's and egt's I was trying for a conservative 14psi and have not touched timing yet until i can log.
I wont be able to log for fine tuning quite yet as the car is currently being put together but i will be using a wideband once I can to dial in afr.
any help/comments welcome and thanks for the great wealth of knowlege

the original is now attached, I believe this came from the stock files repo as the one on the car we are working on wasn't able to be read, as far as the o2 code out and egt its working so far on the car we just finished haven't tried the stage one yet.
