I understood but thought is another way you mean than gremlin says ...

I have 1024K ecu already.

Launch control - only this feature i want otherwise i can use current.

Maybe my english is too bad but I try to explain once again. As separate items.

1. APX engine use M7.5 512K with narrow-band lambda control.
2. Doesn't exist any ready SW-version with LC-features witch can be load inside this ECU type.
3. To activate LC possibility you must change ECU to new 1M type.
4. All 1M-type ECUs  for 1.8T engines are with wide-band lambda control.
5. According item 4 you must rework your engine and electrical wiring to suite new ECU
6. Hidden problem of this rework:
  - ESP may not operate properly after rework because CAN messages exchange beetween new ECU and old ABS/ESP unit is different.
 - also may have another electrical incompatibities with electronical equipment of the car.

This is basical minimum.

Read installation guide for this device...
Maybe it wiil operate as WOT shift or LC.
But seems to me case of ME7.x controlled VW/Audi 1.8T engines this device will NOT CUT fuel when it CUT OFF ignition control.
This means fuel will burn in exhaust, rapid rise exhaust parts temperatures and will be potentially fire dangerous.
All above is IMHO.

I have to write my actual state Smiley
I have launch control and no lift shift and works good Smiley On my original ecu and 400m race i have now about 13.671s (before NLS) ...
In winter i will make complete rebuild with big turbo, intercooler and many more upgrades Smiley

Hi all,
so i have rebuild completed Smiley

Forged rods, forged pistons, GT2871R, Siemens DEKA IV 875cc, 300l/h fuel pump inline with stock fuel pump in tank. Now I have driven about 400 km and on 1,5bar i have 400m@13,54 Smiley


Map pack for 018F is on this forum Smiley

Which ecu do you have exactly?

 i drive at time 652NM and 546HP (EWG) woth no issue on haldex or tramsmission.... on my infos at 700NM the problems starts with the 02m gearbox....

I have issue now with idling and revs falling to idle - when i have maf connected will stall and without maf seems much better but not good - all was ok but at one ride suddenly power loss and very bad fuel ratio. After long tests we hoped that is alternator. Today changed and same state.

Any ideas? I have TIAL OPEN BOV, tried three MAFs, all tested - no air leaks, tested all what can be possible - this will be some crap what we overlooked .

I'm trying to find some maps, but I have trouble for now ...

The file leolux uploaded, doesn't work for me, all map folders are empty.
