You are starting from the wrong file.
There is a factory Stage 3 file, it's called an RS4.

MUCH better place to start with, as many things are already pre-calibrated correctly.

So as a base we are talking about swapping maf setting for hitachi and scaling it back down for the time being, The injector settings and the 2.0 coil changes ive made? What else to get it flashed and at least running in the car? Thanks for the input. I guess I wanted to stick with the mbox because it was strong and im comfortable changing things as I upgrade.

To run 551K on an S4:
1. Swap MAF settings
2. Swap TB maps
3. Code out 2nd power output stage diagnosis for VVT (RS4 has two separate outputs).
4. Code out power output stage diagnosis for N335
5. Raise NMAXTOL, or your RPM will be limited (no oil temp in S4 ecu).
6. Disable immo if your car did not come with one.

I think that's about it. Rest is usual tuning.

Also, there is no published complete kp or xdf for k, and no exhaustive, explicit guide for doing the things prj mentioned.

I'd also say that the things he mentioned are not all inclusive as well. In addition, you bring base boost into the mix.

I looked into the k box after the suggestion and while not experienced by any means I'm much less intimidated by the mbox ive been working with and ill probably stay there as I went thru the stage one thread and several tweaks from there to end up where I am now so I feel invested at this point. Bummer about the hood cable... I had the hood fly up on my first 2.7t and trash it and the windshield 50 miles after I bought it... Undecided so after putting in the ev14's(550cc) im running rich and will need to adjust accordingly but think that a larger maf will help lean it out a bit if not get it too lean and have to adjust richer. My wideband wont calibrate and ive gotta find another one. Timing pull is down to 3 degrees thou...

MAF resizing is not used to fix lean or rich conditions.

At this point, timing should be stock, or more retarded than stock at peak load. You work on fueling first, then boost, then timing.

P.S.
KP/xdf is not a problem because there is full damos for 551F, which takes very little time to line up to 551K.
The end stage deletes can be done by copy pasting ESKONF from m-box.
The TB maps and the MAF maps are once again copy paste.

The only thing that takes some effort is disabling base boost, if you don't want to tune that way.
This can be done by either flattening maps or alternatively doing a quick asm hack.

There is nothing difficult whatsoever, but of course it requires at least some idea of what you are doing.
The hardest thing is the 5120 mod, that IMO is required for Stage 3 with meth, as otherwise I don't see you getting 500 crank hp.

This is very iinteresting.
Would you point out which maps are for TB and diagnose coding?

And there is pretty good 551K XDF  out and kp as well.
