You need the XDF for that specific ECU, or failing that, you need to flash on a compatible bin that has a well defined XDF and use that instead. If no compatible bins are well defined, then use an existing 1.8t bin/xdf and define one for your ECU.

I would start by looking at whether you can flash a 032HN AUQ map onto your ECU, that is quite well defined and seems to be fairly compatible.

Generally speaking you never want to crossflash 4B0--->06A. Well, not if you expect it to work-haha.

OP:

Post your original file.

Interesting, I have a 4b0 906 018 DC here that happily runs an 032HN. Taken from a euro A6 1.8T. Lucky I guess.

I'm not saying the ecu won't boot. I'm saying the rest of the car won't like it.

I got the files in http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1204.0 to import both a 4B0906018CH and a 4B0906018CL bin with some spreadsheet tinkering. I am, however, questioning it's validity. My 4B0906018CH hex read doesn't match his in some key areas. the .kp he posted is a good starting point.

I meant its on and working, I've done about 500miles with that ECU on a AUQ running a 032HN map.

I'll just leave this here. It will have pretty much everything you need for a basic tune.
