Map name closed loop problems with big injectors
« on: April 07, 2015, 11:07:47 PM »
Hi,
I have an S4, deka injectors, that has problems keeping closed loop conditions. Only when it idles it swiches on and off, when you touch the gas it immediately switches off, where it should stay closed loop a great deal into part throttle.
What map(s) are responsible for the closed loop conditions, what load based map (i presume) should i alter to compensate for the big injectors and no longer closed loop situation, i want it to act like stock lambdaregulation more or less.?
Many thanks.

See my sig.
Also, ditch your tune and start from stock, or find a reputable tuner.

Ok. I think it is a reasonable question when making a tune, i could not find it in the wiki or search.
Is it the RLLRUN map? It has stock MAF.

Correction; in part load it works, only idle is a problem, it switches on above a load of 24%. Sometimes at idle it goes on for about 1 second.
Adaptionvalues are under 5% after reset.

Log, don't guess.
The main things you are looking for are load and req lambda
Not much else can trigger open loop.
I'm guessing you have a hardware issue, not a tune problem.
