Hi,

I have no experience with flashing of petrol VAG cars, so far i had made only vag diesel cars.
I flashed VAG TDIs with MPPS or Fgtech V54 (booth are clones).

Which tool should i use to write to MED9.1 ECU? I read the ori with V54 (tooks over 20min)

Here I read that sometimes the write process fails durning flashing, when that happens what i have to too?
Can i try to reflash without turning the ignition off? I know in this case the egine fan starts blowing on high speed...
Is the ECU in this case able to communicate when the immo data correct? (0x6c00 - 0x6ff0)

Have MED9.1 a Recovery Mode or is Recovery only over BDM100 possible?

Sorry for the many questions, the GTI is my brothers car.

MPPS is fine.

BDM can be used to recover the ecu with an OBD read (full read), but I would backup the eeprom as well. Getting stuck in programming mode is no fun, having a full backup is good. 6C00 can be read via OBD, but not written.
