Well I decided last night to pull my intake flaps out. I know, it is not a good mod or even good idea. I have been tracking down a sound in my engine bay for a couple years now so figured I would eliminate this as a possible cause and I am working on adjusting the injector stuff right now anyway, so no biggie. Well the car fires up and starts kicking and coughing really bad and my wide band is showing a lambda of 0.95-1.00 during warm up period where this is happening.

So I figure I need to start looking at the lambda during warm up, but low and behold the files I have do not have KFLNS, KFLNSKH, or KFLSWLR defined. I looked through 4 different ME9 files for a starting point, but none have these maps defined. Also, all the files I have are missing anything in the function ESNSWL.

If anyone has a ME9 file with these defined, or even better a 115G file, it would be greatly appreciated if I can take a look. Here is my latest file and kp pack. DD is/has helping me a bunch, but I feel bad always asking him for help and not posting up, so figured can post this up in case someone has the info and also get it up for others that might need it as well Smiley

Sorry, the maps are KFLANS, KFLANSKH, and KFLASWLR.

Missed an "A".

I missed an "A" in the map names, and when I added the "A" I actually find it one of the maps (KFLANS) in my mappack. What a difference a single letter can make. :/

So the maps I need are KFLANSKH, and KFLSWLR.

Well I jumped the gun when the car barely started this morning, and freaked out when the Excel file that I was using for the acronyms provided map names I couldn't find. But after looking for the acronym names with the "A", I found the other maps in a file that Rarak provided me for comparison some time ago, and I have all three warm up maps defined now.

Updated kp mappack with the warm up maps is attached! Smiley The axis of KFLASWLR did not transfer over correctly, so if someone wants to fix it that would be great. But I enriched the other two warm up maps and the car started then idled a LOT better. Basically perfectly.

Cold start and warmup fueling sucks. You basically get one chance a day to see what's happening-lol.

Good work!

That is a good point. The car temp gauge was all the way at the bottom, but the car had only sat for 3 hours before I tried the new maps. I guess in the morning the real test will be had Smiley

The next question is what do I need to do to disable the flaps operation from the software and prevent CEL codes? I see there is one post on this from someone else, but no real info is in that thread about what is needed for ME9.
