Hi nefmoto folks.
Been a while since I posted. Tuned an AWW 1.8T and plopped it in my 90 Corrado last year and am loving it. Used the nefmoto flashing tool and associated def file without issue.
Today i tried to read a friend at works 2000 Audi A4. Flasher read the ECU info and the DTC's but would not copy the BIN from the car. It's info is:
AUDI A4 1.8T ATW 150HP 4B0906018P 0261206537 1037352750.
Any tips on def file required, and if my AWW 1.8T BIN will work in this car and ecu model? I planned on dowloading his as a back up and just reflashing with one of mine.
If I am wrong, any help, greatfully appreciated.
I have attached my BIN to pay it forward for those looking for a fairly nice tune for an AWW. Still need resistors for SAI, etc on this one however or you toss emission codes..
Cheers. Mike

That ecu can be a pain to read with nefmoto. Best bet, just download an original off the site and start there. If you use 38400 baud, memory layout 29F400BB, it flashes very reliably. The MK4 file is not compatible.

Thanks for the tips dd.
As last year on my Corrado, you are a big help.
I found an original stock file for it already in the threads. Will d/load that and run a comparison. Don't really want to experiment on another dudes car though so I will see if there are any custom established bins out there as well.
Thanks again, saved me from trying to load something I shouldn't.
