Hi,

at the moment i make a chiptuning file for an Audi A4 BFB.

I swaped the maps and so on from a running chiptuningfile. This file come from the ECU 8E0909518AA and I make one for an AQ.
Most is ready, but i found 2 values (16 bit) or 4 (8bit) and dont know what it is. I hope someone can help me.

The first adress from AA ECU is 132F0.

The value here is FFFE (tuning) - serial value F964 (16bit)

in 8 bit it is FE FF and serial 64 F9

The second is in 16 bit 132F2.
value 0087 (tuning) - serial 0089

or in 8 bit 87 00 and 89 00.

May be its a map with 4x1 or so on, but i dont have any idea about it.

I searched in the dump of AQ file, but i dont find that anyway.

My question is, is that an important value? What is it?

Ist only a stage 1 Tuning from 163HP to 195HP.

Thank you for your help.

May be it is the FBSTABGM map - Factor component protection depending on model exhaust gas temperature.

But I dont know. I searched for that in the AQ file, but it there the FBSTABGM map looks other and has other values.

All other is very similar between both Ecus.

based on your originals:
AA file @ 132F0 you see 64 F9 89 00
should be
AQ file @ 12F9C you see FE 65 8A 00 (in my tune its FE FF 87 00)

but it is not defined and i dont know what it is.

There are no publicly defined B6 files, and defining them yourself is a PITA because a lot of the functions are wildly different than other ME7.5.  Asking for a definition for a specific file is definitely asking for a lot.

so best of luck
