im using 95040 version 1.3,1.31, or 1.4 to write, vag commander 2.5 to read and save, Hxd to edit and save.  serial vagcom in dumb mode to do these actions on benched ecu.

it started here
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=8676.0title=
Key destroyed, got another one, immo off the ecu, car starts, hazard flashing immo light blinks

the result is i need to turn immo back on, buy some id48's and hit the road

when i write the immo on .bin back to eeprom it isnt correct when i read the ecu, it isnt the immo off left behind bin and is replaced by whatever is happening. when i read the ecu and save file i end up with an immo on bin, immo off bin, and the failed result of writing the immo on bin back to eeprom.

and it fails verify after it writes to eeprom. file is 512kb
when i open immo on .bin in a veiwer (hxd, vag commander etc..) .bin looks correct. has vin, right login immo on etc...

i believe im doing this correctly because my immo off was written and the car did start and run, so i have reason to believe im doing these things right.

so can i try and load this virgin epromm from
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=3318.0title=
This file is virgin, you can copy it into your ecu and complete adaptation as though it was a new ecu. Tested on me7.1 and me7.5 ecu's. Do not use this on me7.1.1 vehicles.

and adapt it to cluster and be done with all of this?

ecu is 8E0 909 518 AF  ME7.5 0001

If all fails, try to read old school. Desolder and read on programmer.

Ended up buying so8 clip, and I'll try burning straight onto eeprom with serial.
I bought new transponders and after writing ecu I expect to see vin and program new keys..
