Hello,


now i have a 2.0 TFSI car with a garret turbo. The car was already tuned by a tuner. So now the customer comes to me to change a few setting. Turbo pressure, Lambda regulation. I read out the ecu file over BDM and modified it. Changed the turbo pressure from 1,45bar to 1,75 bar and the lambda values to lambda 0,83.

After this changes i write it back to the car. The lambda value is now so much better than before.
But the Turbo pressure is at the specified field still at 2550mbar and the actual pressure is one time 2700mbar and then goes down back to round about 2500mbar.

Has anyone an idea??
May i forgott anywhere an limiter?

You can only request up to 2550mbar..

This does not apply to MED9, it is much easier on MED9 actually.
Probably out of reach for most people though.

"Out of reach" meaning that you need to fiddle with the ASM code?

You can run more than 2550mbar without changing any of the processor code too. Just that anything over 2550mbar will be open loop so you lose some of the protection features.

Much better to say is - you can run above 2550 mbar without boost control.

If you do this, you should run a mbc in parallel to the N75 set to a safe value.
Use the N75 to control the boost up to 2550 mbar, and after that max the N75 duty and use an MBC to limit the highest possible boost.

Much better to just do an asm modification.
