Hoping someone has already cracked this bad boy, and can save me a lot of leg work.

Engine is in a 2000 Audi A4.

Here is the bin.

Love you long time.

Update: No read removed on the .BIN

Hi Turbo,

Have you discovered anything else with your 558S file?
I am working on pretty much the same project -an ART 4.2 from a 2000 A6, and its going into my 1999.5 B5.
Only thing I'm really after at first will be getting the ECM to know it's attached to a manual and not an auto.
I assume this is what you're looking to tackle, too.

Were you able to use this 558S file, and edit in maps from say, an S6 file to get engine speed behavior correct?
I'm completely new to NefMoto, but I'd like to help you on this wherever I can, maybe we can knock this out together..

Thanks!

Sorry, I assumed wrong on the file origins.  Looks like this is not a 558S file, but a map of the 559D S6 AQJ engine and a bin of the 560AE ME7.1.1 ECM.
I think I have that right?

I wasn't aware tunerpro could open the attachment you posted. I thought it was an accidental file extension, because the file reads as:
"B5 4.2 Stock - NOREAD removed.2 Stock - NOREAD removed"
-an extension of ".2 Stock - NOREAD removed"

That's a really strange syntax for an extension for me.

Anyway, now that I do see tunerpro can open this file, I see in the title bar that this is using the 4D0 907 560 AE.bin  (which is from the ECM I've heard can be used to get manual transmission ability & work with ART) -actually I've seen ddillinger recommend this ECM for our type of swap.  So its making more sense to me seeing this information in the title bar.

And now I get what was posted about this .xdf being from an AQJ 4.2 S6, as the xdf file listed in the title bar of tunerpro is 4D0 907 559D.xdf  -as that is the ECM the AQJ engine uses.  -Again, correct me if I'm wrong on any of this so far..

I'm slowly starting to catch on.

I'm trying to see what the differences are between a manual configured ECM and an Auto.  Maybe I can learn enough I could identify that property from this tune by looking at the right areas.
I guess I can start checking this file you posted against the stock ART 4D0907558S bin.
I'll start fumbling around with that.  But if you've got a heads up for what to look for, please let me know!

So I should also rephrase my earlier question:
Have you had a chance to test this tune (560AE.bin and 559D.xdf) with your ART engine?
What ECM did you use to flash this to? -I'm guessing you flashed it to the 4D0 907 560 AE ECM? Or equivalent? -Not that I know what ECMs are compatible with each other yet..

Thanks.
