Changing M box tune to an A box, Auto to Manual
« on: August 17, 2011, 08:45:47 AM »
I cant remember where i read it before, but can someone enlighten me on what is required to move a tune from say an M box to an A box and keep the Bosch sensor still. Also if i wanted to move a tune from say a M box to an J box.
Thanks!

For M-box to A-box to retain the Bosch sensor for some reason, I believe you will only need is to copy MLHFM and MLOFS from the A-box to the M-box.
For M-box to J-box, I would just copy the tuned maps into an L-box file. All majors map in M-box and L-box match up. J, L, and M are all Hitachi MAFs.

Is it that the Hitachi maf's are more durable? Or maybe more resolution?

I'm assuming the d-box is modified? Open the modified d-box, compare it to a stock d-box. Take note of the maps that are changed, and copy them from the modified d-box to the l-box.

Is that it? Or are we going to read another 10 posts of yours asking about how to copy a D box modded file into an L box?

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)
