Hi,

Sorry my english, hope that you guys could understand what I'm trying to say Smiley

I Have been trying to find out if someone have tried to get oil temp to original cluster. I believe that it could be done somehow because VCDS shows oil temp under instruments. Main idea is to add oil temp in same place in where you can see Avg fuel consumption, time etc. (Small display in tachometer). If I remember right Older Mk3 VR6 Golf had this function but this MK4 based cars lacks of it.

Any ideas?

My car is Leon mk1 1.8t 4wd, but cluster is basically same as in any MK4 based car without bigger multifunction display, just the small one under tacho.

hi

you will need to add some electronic that makes the job, you can read value from engine then write it to cluster display via can-bus on the navigation address.

good luck
