Hey guys I'm looking forward to doing a bit of tuning on my car, and hope you can help me! I've been following the guide and I did a full read of my ECU tonight. It looks like I'll need a definition for my flash file but I did some searching and it doesn't look like we have one for this ECU yet. I searched through some posts to figure out if I can use another def. as a reference, but I didn't find anything saying for sure as far as I can tell. I basically want to remove some emissions related things like ignore cat efficiency (one is bad already), disable smog pump and EGR, and maybe disable EGT sensors since one was intermittent but I just tapped into the good one for now. And yes, of course I would love to increase the power within a safe range for stock hardware and 91 octane. Here are some additional details and hoping to get pointed in the right direction here!

Thanks nyet, so you're saying I could flash the ECU with a 8D0907551L bin, either stock or modified? The 551M .xdf won't line up with the A6 551L bin then? I'm wondering if I might be able to follow along the lines of the stage 1 guide for it as well.

Hey guys,  I've tried to flash the 551L file to my 2000 a6 but after flashing it just turns over and doesn't start.  Do I need to do something with the immo or something?  I have flashed a 551b file and it worked OK, but I want to use the 551L file so I can use the xdf.  Thanks for any help.
