So, I've got a virgin 95040 file for my EEPROM.

I can successfully flash it with no problem.

But how do I go about pairing it with my cluster & key?

I have my SKC if that is of any help.

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked Ross-Tech?

+1.  Pull the cluster fuse and attempt to read.  If not, bootmode your current ECU and pull the EEPROM that way

You've had no luck, but its usually not this hard.

I will try a bench read this weekend in bootmode. Thanks guys.

I want to read the eeprom so that I can dump it onto my spare ECU, therefore creating a working clone (with Immobiliser!)

If you want to write the eeprom, you will need bootmode.

So, why not do a bootmode read too? Instead of cluttering the shit out of the forums? No more new posts on this.

I have no idea why we needed 4  threads for this, so I merged them all

Dan, please don't shit all over the forums.

Starting the same topic 4 times is not going to get you answers any faster.
