I have a 03 GTI 1.8t 06A906032LP and plan on setting up a stage 2 tune for it. Already have an xdf for my ecu and have saved my bin from the car as well as most of the mods necessary. is it possible to use bin information from other 1.8t ecu bins ak etc to patch such as fuel mapping, boost conditions?

Best way is to start with your stock file.

Newer copy from other tunes (with same software/ecu) and newer copy stuff you dont understand.

What exactly did you change if you talk about "stage2" ?

Read the community tuning threads and do this to your file.

as well as most of the mods necessary.

You are not ready for "Stage 2" then.  Patch fueling, boost conditions?  What do you mean?

There is just basically very limited info for my ECU on here. I will happily researrch tho. i have P-flo, Forge Diverter, 3"DP, 3"turbo back plus some updated heat wrap and charge pipe fittings. i believe chip had a stage 2 on it but for some crazy ass reason the program isn't working after replacing the turbo. super confused. maybe one of you guys can look at the bin and see if its actually stage 2 or not. the kid who sold me the car told me it had stage 2 but knew nothing about it.

When i first got the car it would boost like craaazy. 15-20psi. Somewhere in the process of replacing the turbo, maybe unhooking battery, don't know it reverted somehow. I don't know if thats possible but it sure seems like it. Undecided now it boosts like 8-11psi and is dog ass slow. The ecu was not touched other than flashed to remove a lambda o2 which we eventually put the original bin back on. I am stumped but either way i want to write a nice stage 2 program for it.

You likely had a hardware failure with your last turbo if it was boosting that high.  The file that you posted is 1000% stock.

1) Read s4wiki 50 times at the bare minimum.
2) Use the link I posted above to get your definition.  It's a kp, so you will need to run it through nyet's program to generate the xdf from the kp.
3) Edit bin in tunerpro
4) Flash, log, flash, log, flash, log... etc.

Removing the battery will not have changed a thing.  So, you had a file on the ECU that read.  You edited this, removed "a" lambda O2, it didn't work, so you wrote the original file that you read back on?  And now you have no boost?

You know that's stock boost for a stock file?  Are you sure the wastegate wasn't changed on the other turbo?

Wastegate was not changed other than cleaned. Turbo was rebuilt with gpopshop kit and some parts were replaced. Wastegate was undone and redone. We originally thought the dp was a o2 delete so i had my  S4 nef buddy cut the o2 from the flash, we saved the original from car and replaced once in discovered the other o2 during rebuild process. New to turbo cars.

There is two O2's.  Which one did you delete?

Actuator, I mean, not wastegate, sorry.

Deleted lambda or post cat but the cat is deleted. Put original program back on tho. There were no issueswith the delete program, just wanted my flash to be legit for logging.

Thanks soo much for the xdf. I really appreciate it. Just startin to pick up on the reading in tunerpro. Are there any other sites other than s4wiki that i can learn about the tables? A lot of the table abbreviations on s4wiki are different.
