Why not just use the 032HN?  It's hardly not defined.

You won't get help for just copying files here.

But yes, it'll work.

PS: if you don't know what hardware you need to swap, you shouldn't be flashing random files.

Either learn to tune your 032HN yourself, or pay someone to do it.  Stealing/copying/whatever files from other people isn't cool, hasn't taught you anything and you'll never have the inclination to work for something yourself.

I've put up my pretty well defined 032HN for everyone to see, use that.  I'm not trying to be a dick; but there's too many people thinking they can just jump into the world of flashing because they bought a Chinese cable and can download software.  And even then, they don't know what CMD is or how to use it, so can't log, and then question hardware faults, issues ect with no logs.  Then get pissy when VAG-COM logs aren't suitable.

A massive amount of effort has gone into this forum thus far and all these new people are joining thinking they can just cross-flash willy nilly with no understanding what they're doing and when it goes wrong, they're screwed.

You're questioning if you can cross-flash an ECU.  What if it goes wrong?  Can you bootmode it?  If you can bootmode it, use your origina; file, you're gaining nothing by copying.

and all tuners use a base map so is that copying ?

im more or less restoring  my old skoda at the moment so i wont be doing any logging anytime soon probably a year with the amount of corrosion im currently cutting out Sad messing with the ecu is the easy part tbh
if your willing to point me in the right direction to understand  the programming language for the c167 im more than willing to learn, all iv seen so far is dismantling

cheers

No proper tuner uses a base map; they'll start with the original file and define it from there.

Why do you need to disassemble?  If you're using the 032HN SW0002 there is a FULLY defined file.  If you're using SW0001 there's a pretty well defined file on here, and my upload is even more defined.

You DO NOT need to disassemble anything.

Multiple RXN maps?  Where did you get the file from?

adam, i may have not correctly stated my intentions at the start, i want to use this file as a base map, it has the fueling trims sorted out and i dont have access to a rolling road to sort that my self for larger injectors....

What injectors are you using?  If you're using relatively standard injectors (read EV14), you can use a pretty standard TVUB as per the data sheet.  KRKTE can be done manually and tweaked until right.

You could also just use the KRKTE and TVUB from your other file.  It's up to you man, I just don't like the idea of swapping files, epesh when there's a defined file already.  Your call though.  I don't, no.  It's a bit far from Glasgow!

You could flash it over, I THINK it's possible, but it would only take two minutes to swap over the necessary bits from the 18H file to the 032HN.  You don't need to disassemble or anything.

was going to go for 550cc injectors, its more the call function and multi boost maps im copying it over for, the address for the call function on my 18H file is being used on my 32HJ file and also the map locations are in different addresses...
basically when you turn your ignition on you hold the clutch pedal and tap the brake pedal to change maps, its indicated on the rev clock what map your in, obviously this is programming software, and not map related

Can you bootmode?  Worst case is flash and if it goes wrong, just recover.
