folks,

my Audi A4B6 3.0L ASN engine is running the following ECU:

VAG NUMBER:    8E0 909 559
Component:    3.0L V6/5V 0003
Soft coding:    0011501
ShopL       Imp: 000  WSC 63351

i've been trying to connect with Nefmoto to the ECU by using a Ross Tech HEX-CAN cable with direct USB drivers, but no success. Nefmoto says it cannot echo / find the cable. But the cable is fully operational with VCDS software.

Can you guys tell me Nefmoto is compatible with my ECU? if not, what are the alternatives for connecting to my ECU and doing flash read and writes?

thank you in advance

Put your cable into dumb mode in the vcds setting. this should make it work with nefmoto if your vcds is genuine cable.

sorry guys, i've been reading a lot before posting on this forum.
And yes, my Ross HEX-CAN cable "intelligent mode" is disabled before starting netmoto, but no way, i'm unable to connect to the ECU using Nefmoto although VCDS software works properly, for instance clearing all DTC errors.

I'll give a try to Galleto software.

thank you anyway.
