Stop paying through the nose for a stock ecu.
things u need:
1. chipquick

http://www.batronix.com/shop/chips/eproms.html3. Galletto or some other type of boot mode interface.
4. soldering iron with solder.
5. soldering flux
6. desoldering braid is nice to have as well.
How to:
Use your chipquik to desolder the chip... it comes with good instructions.
clean the board up and install the new chip... make sure you align it correctly
just tin the iron and dab each pin, don't use too much solder or u will be there all day cleaning it off.
you must flash it in boot mode for the first time.
note: i destroyed 1 ecu before realizing i needed to use chipquik to lower the solder melting point.
