Looking for a know good 1K0907115B EEPROM

I have two ECU's that are getting P160A Internal Control Module Memory fault and I want to rule out this as an issue.

You can't just use an eeprom. You have to match it to the flash portion as well.

I don't know where that misinformation originated from, but I've used that particular EEPROM on many ECUs and it's worked fine.

Thank you for the file. I'll load this up and report back.

QQ thou. I have done a BDM read with BDM100 and got a 4k file and it looks to repeat the information in the file, and when I read with Galletto it give me a 2k file.

Yes. It's a 2K file with the data just repeated. There are two flash 2K flashes. The second component writes to the other chip.

That makes sense. That might be part of why these ECUs are messed up, I was given them because of the Checksum errors.

Well thank you so much for the file. It didn't solve my problem, but that's not the fault of the file. Going to start a different thread for my error

Ok so I have solved the error by writing a FLASH and EEPROM from another 115B ecu and now they work perfect. I'm starting to suspect that the Version number in the EEPROM has to match the version in the FLASH for MED9.1. I tried files from many people that said were good, but the thing that i noticed was that in each of them the version was different than the FLASH.

Ok with all that said I'm looking for an EEPROM that matches the 0040 version. I have uploaded the FLASH file that I'm trying to match. I do have and EEPROM for the 0030 but it won't work with Flash from the 0040 version.

Bosch Software Number: 1037391667
Bosch Hardware Number: 0261S02080
Vw Software Number: 1K0907115B  0040
System Type Number: 2.0l R4/4V TFSI

So here are my questions.
1. Does anyone have a EEPROM from and 0040?
2. Can you modify and EEPROM from and 0030 to work with an 0040?

You are infuriating.

Stop mixing and matching.
