I have a 2001 1.8t jetta engine code aww and i did a tranny swap from automatic to manual but the shop kept the stock ecu and every time i go to check codes i get like 24 codes from the tranny can i delete these codes or just swaping the ecu or flashing it with a manual program will work?

It's my understanding that MK4's have separate files for auto and manual. Swapping the manual file/ecu in should be your first move.
