Hello.
I am doing a mk5 TFSI, It has been fitted with a S3 turbo, injectors and fuel pump. I am due to start the car next week, but this week I am making a map pack for the sw. I am yet to find a map related to injector constant simlar to the me7 KRKTE. Does anyone know the injector constant name?
Cheers Nick

There is a constant, as well as a curve (2D) vs pressure differential. Be aware (perhaps you already are) you need to make changes for the pump as well.

Hello,
Its just the name of the 1x1 constant I need. I have found most of the rail pressure maps and corrections.

Check injection time for relative fuel mass function in docs.

KRKATE in MED9. Injectors lag in S3 and stock BWA injectors is the same so you need not to change it... Some minnor changings needed also to be 100% perfect.... Pump needs tuning only if he wants to get high power or if he will install new HPFP, then he needs to set the larger volume of the new pump!
If you want to see how well you know Direct injection systems and MED9 ECU, then try to install RS4 injectors and calibrate them with totaly perfection.... If you do it, then you are a really Motronic lover....
cheers, Fotis

interesting.
so basically you just lower the rail pressure at idle instead of lowering injector on/off timing. i currently run the RS4s in my car and will be hoping to run them at 145bar. lets hope i dont destroy my cam.

Hello,
I am looking for KRKATE in the attached file. I can find it on common VW Golf GTI 2.0TFSI MED9 files but not on the S3 ones. Is anybody here who can find it in the attached file ? Factor should be the same as in GTI MED9 right ?
Thanks in advance

Search for 2880 value. You will find KRKATE.

Thank you very much.
I will use this value found in the file in my VW Golf 5 2.0TFSI MED9 ECU which has the S3 injectors :-)
