So I'm working on doing IMMO off on the EPPROM on two ECU's and I have an interesting thing going on. The ecus are 06A906032SM (files attached) and 06A906032NK and the behavior is identical between the two.

When I have the IMMO ON file loaded on the ECU I can read and write to the ECU all day long.
When I have the IMMO OFF file loaded on the ECU I can read but I can't write at all. I have tried writing with MPPS, Galletto, and Nefmoto and all fail.
When I load the IMMO ON file back on the ECU I can read and write to the ECU all day long again.

any ideas on what is wrong with my IMMO off file that would cause this?

Lotta chanes between those two files, most not immobilizer related. Please explain what you've done, and why.

It was done by a friend... so I don't have all the details. I'll take it from your response that I need to go in and start over.

i think all that was done was copy the vin and such from 1 to the other.
whoever did it was obviously very unsure about the proper way. as in, just the 4 edits in the original file.
