Hi all, at first sorry for my English i will try my best.

I've got a little problem to understand how KWP2000 in VAG cars is working.

I'm trying to get measuring blocks on Elm327.
In TP2.0 ( KWP2000 over the CAN ) it's working perfect however,
in KWP2000 i must set receiving ECU in header and here is my question.

Is there any possibility to set header or any other method to use logical VAG addresses ( 0x01 Engine, 0x03 ABS, 0x17 Instruments etc. )
After i read a lot of informations i can't figure it out for VAG cars...

After sniff VCDS when connecting to Instruments ( 0x17 ), data request from vcds looks like this:

81 61 F1 1A 92 CHECKSUM

This indicates that instruments ( vag logic 0x17 ) ECU physical address is 61. This physical address is same for every vag car?

Also i found opensource logger for KWP2000 and here are instructions for ELM327 to get transmission oil temp

AT IIA 26 <-- ( 26 physical address for transmission ecu? )

AT SH 80 02 F1 <-- ( VAG logic 02 for transmission )

I'm really confused...

Thanks for any help
