Hi. I'm from Spain and y have a golf mk2 1.8t.
I'm doing my maps to 1.8t gt3071r (me3.8 AQ) but I can not change the rpm limiter.
I tried it with NMAXDV And NMAXF does not work
Someone could help me change the limiter?
Thanks

So I've read. I would like to know that maps affect rev limiter and learn to modify

I found the limiter
In an ecu AQ find the following values

8A A3 A3 A4 AA AA C8 C8 C8 C8 C8 C8 8C A6 A5 A6 A7 AA AA AA AA A8 A8 A8 8A A3 A3 A4 A8 AA

If you multiply the map * 40, AA is 6800
If you change these values you get the cut in these rpm

Nice find..... but problem is that those are not only a limiter like K0mpresd mentioned, those are group of "limiters" or values associated to it. I have notice those values too, the problem is to identify which ones are for what.
06A906018AQ is M383 and RPM limiters are in the same zones, but could share some similarities (I am not sure) with M382 ones that includes:
NMAXDV   Drehzahlbegrenzung bei Fehlererkennung Geschwindigkeitssignal
TNMAXDV   Verzögerungszeit für Drehzahlbegrenzung bei Ausfall des Geschwindigkeitssignals
RED1NMX   "Reduzierstufe bei Bedingung 1 der NMAX-Begrenzung ASR-Reduzierstufenauswahl Reduzierstufe"
RED2NMX   "Reduzierstufe bei Bedingung 2 der NMAX-Begrenzung ASR-Reduzierstufenauswahl Reduzierstufe"
RED3NMX   "Reduzierstufe bei Bedingung 3 der NMAX-Begrenzung ASR-Reduzierstufenauswahl Reduzierstufe"
RED4NMX   "Reduzierstufe bei Bedingung 4 der NMAX-Begrenzung ASR-Reduzierstufenauswahl Reduzierstufe"
NMXP    Drehzahlbegrenzung
NMAXWP   weiche Drehzahlgrenze
NMAXZP   Drehzahlgrenze für Zylinderabschaltung
NMAXDP   Dauerdrehzahlgrenze
NMAXHP   maximale Drehzahl für hartes Abschalten
DNMAXP   Drehzahlhysterese für Drehzahlbegrenzung
TVMAXHP   Zeitschwelle für Übergang in harte n/v-Begrenzung
DZUENMP   Delta ZW für weiche nmax-Begrenzung
ZWVNMAXP Max. Zündwinkelverstellung für weiche n/v-Begrenzung
FNMAXP   Abmagerungsfaktor bei weicher n/v-Begrenzung
DNMXHP   Hysterese für Drehzahlgrenzen
NMAXWHP   Umschaltschelle Drehzahlberenzung hart -> weich

I changed the 7  "AA" values (all for the same) and works well.
i dont know the function of the other value maps
anyone knows the function of the other values?

I only have this maps in my ecu

NMAXDV
NMAXF
RED1NMX
RED2NMX
RED3NMX
RED4NMX
TNMAXDV

The cut is very slow, anyone know if there is any value to the cutoff time?

Sorry for my english. It is bad Grin

I have already located this region and changed the AA values, but I did not succeed.
Could someone help me find the limiter in my bin?

If I remember this correctly these are rpm's when it starts to cut individual cylinders.
And it's best not to set everything to the same value otherwise it's like driving into a wall.

Thank you but I need NMAX 5x6 map

I am going to set it little higer all values, then try to put ignition cut to oroginal rpm via KFSRL
