Title: Ibiza Cupra stock Timing Values abnormally low? Post by: ibizaCUPRA18t on May 21, 2018, 01:34:11 PM I think I've asked this before. Never got a clear answer. Is the Ibiza Cupra R AYP engine management using a different timing strategy to achieve timing? The values in KFZW go as low as 9.5deg @ 6500rpm @ 150% Load. Compare that to a Golf 4 AUM 1.8T and you have a 12degree difference, 21deg @ 6500rpm @ 150% Load. Is the 032AA AYP Ecu using a different strategy by having higher values in KFZWOP because I can't tell.
P.s. this isn't the only map that has alien values. Anyone had experience tuning this ECU? Its 06A 906 032 or 06A 906 032 AA (512kb) narrowband. Thats on stock files, stock k03(s). Screenshots attached. Title: Re: Ibiza Cupra stock Timing Values abnormally low? Post by: adam- on May 22, 2018, 12:04:32 AM I'm not convinced that's defined right.
Post the file? Title: Re: Ibiza Cupra stock Timing Values abnormally low? Post by: KasperH on May 22, 2018, 03:03:45 AM Yeah, that lowest load row looks a little fishy.

Heres the file (6k2 906 032 ECU) Its defined right... just wondering why its so low in the last two rows. Maybe KFZWOP is higher, but I didnt see that from comparing the KFZWOP of this one to other 1.8T files. Also am at v1.4 right now boost is dialed in nicely but airflow is only 145g/s at redline. Boost 1.2bar tapers to 0.8 to redline. Just very low torque and power is on or off sometimes. No timing pull on logs. Maybe I should try copying kfzw values from a k03s 1.8T and start from there? Even stock KFLDIMX was like 95 95 95 30 30 30 30 30 DC (so I changed it to a normal k03s file)... very weird :D. Its defined right too checked with 3 defs. |
