Title: Looking for the manual trans ver of 06A906032LQ Post by: killpop on October 16, 2018, 08:52:17 AM I have an 03 GTI 1.8t AWP that I did a tip to manual swap on and I need to know what stock file I should flash to it. It came with 06A906032LQ 0005, I tried flashing 06A906032LP 0007 but it made it run like poo. Flashing back ori makes it run great but throws codes.

Seems like ign is cutting out like it would with a dead coil pack. Happens about mid RPM range at part throttle. Still got some reading to do about logging but once I get that figured out, what should I log? Is there a standard set of diag parameters that would be the most helpful? I've also considered just trying to code out everything that is not necessary and see if and when the problem stops. Or what would be some other compatible firmwares I could try just to see if there is a change?
