Title: What module is responsible for how quickly the throttle plate closes? Post by: amd is the best on March 08, 2019, 12:46:20 AM What maps/module do I need to look at to control how rapidly my throttle plate closes/returns to idle position after letting off the accelerator pedal?

I don't have those maps as it's not factory boosted. Title: Re: What module is responsible for how quickly the throttle plate closes? Post by: Blazius on March 08, 2019, 12:01:52 PM Assuming this is dbw, there is a map/delay which switches state from part throttle to overrun, you can tune this, but afaik its not advised for driveability issues. maybe some pros can chime in.

Since adding the supercharger, I believe the vacuum created by the supercharger is sucking the throttle closed faster than before as there's a very abrupt shudder through the drivetrain when lifting off the throttle. Only after boost though. If I'm only in light load, it's smooth like OEM. Title: Re: What module is responsible for how quickly the throttle plate closes? Post by: Blazius on March 08, 2019, 03:13:24 PM Are you sure its not caused by ARMD ? Some people disable this as they claim not even OEM is 100% right and its copy pasted through many ME7 ecus , and since you were NA before it could cause issues.
Title: Re: What module is responsible for how quickly the throttle plate closes? Post by: prj on March 08, 2019, 05:33:25 PM This is due to friction torque being wrong and you did not modify the map.
The supercharger places additional frictional losses upon the engine. After that if it's still not very good, have a look at LSD and dashpot functions and slow them down a little in affected areas. Oh and disregard what Blazius was saying as none of it even remotely applies. Title: Re: What module is responsible for how quickly the throttle plate closes?
