Title: 16985-checksumm error in 4z7 907 551P ecu, need help for cut it from eeprom Post by: a200tq on July 18, 2012, 08:53:02 AM So-there is next story. I have 4z7 907 551P me7.1.1 ecu from 2004 allroud, with ABT crypto inside and this 16985 dtc code. I am delete crypto and install new 29f800bb, and boot-flashing ori 551P dump in it. All is good-but of course 16985 stay here and i cant erase it with vagcom. I read eeprom with me7_95040 reader (dump attached to the post), but there is pretty 00-00 instead of 33-33 in 0C column. So-anybody can help me with disable this code from eeprom? I can pay for this job) Or anybody have eeprom dump from 4z7 907 551P-N-S-R ecu without 16985 code (in this case i am just disable the immo and write it to the eeprom)?

Like in all me7.1.1 ecu, this is ST5p08c3 (aka ST95p08). Yes, its 1kb eeprom, but this looks like only 512b of it used by me711 system, and this eeprom read/write with me7_95040 programm without any problems. No sence... Second half of eepom is empty and not used in this ECU. ME7.1.1 can and must be different. For example. 4Z0907551 N/P/R/S boxes (2-nd generation) for 2.7T А6/Allroad have slightly different HW design compared to 1-st generation D/E/H/F/K/L/M boxes. CPU content differs, use ST95P08 eeprom instead 95040, etc... Me7.1.1 VR6/V6 ECU also differs from both generations turbo-ECUs |
